Pure Chanderi Saree Collection
Chanderi sarees represent one of India’s renowned handloom arts, originating in Chanderi town, Madhya Pradesh. These sarees are valued for their lightweight, sheer texture, and luxurious feel due to the integration of silk threads and shimmering zari motifs. Chanderi fabric has been woven since ancient times, gaining royal patronage and evolving over centuries.
In 2005, Chanderi sarees were granted Geographical Indication (GI) status, protecting the traditional craft.
At Khajuraho Karigari, each Chanderi saree in our collection is sourced from authentic weavers, preserving the legacy of centuries-old craftsmanship. The result is a saree that is both heritage-rich and perfectly wearable for modern aesthetics.
